Immediately After Tattooing

Daily Tattoo Aftercare

PrickWax Can be applied immediately to fresh tattoos. For effective use, only a light film is required, allowing the tattoo to `breathe` as it heals. Gently apply PrickWax Tattoo Aftercare 2 - 3 times daily. Just like any cosmetic product PrickWax Tattoo Aftercare salve should not be shared with other people to avoid contamination and exposure to infection!

Weekly Tattoo Aftercare

PrickWax Tattoo Aftercare is an excellent weekly use skin nourishing salve. Its ingredients include specially selected herbs and vitamins beneficial to skin health, keeping the tattoo looking fresh and colors radiant.

Micro Pigmentation / Permanent Makeup Tattoo Aftercare

Apply 2-3 times a day while healing. Use later once a week to keep the skin healthy and nourished.

General Tattoo Care Instructions

1. Remove bandage in 24 hours unless otherwise stated
2. Wash tattoo with a mild soap (glycerin) and water, using a washcloth. Clean tattoo until all the excess plasma, vaseline and pigment are gone.
3. Pat dry with a clean, dry towel - do not rub or wipe!
4. Let tattoo air dry completley
5. Apply Prick Wax healing balm very sparingly 3-4 times daily
6. Do not get tattoo wet for 1 -1.5 weeks or until tattoo is completely peeled
7. Tattoo will peel like a sunburn and will be the colour of the tattoo. This is normal
8. No picking or scratching!
9. No over exerting the skin (stretching)
10. Avoid wearing clothing that will rub or irritate your tattoo
11. For swelling or itching, an ice pack works great (remember to cover the ice pack)
